Declaration on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of ISDUE
50 years after the foundation of ISDUE, on our congress in Oporto the new developments (globalisation, market-economic dynamics, information-technology, and growing tendency to „elbow-society“) force us to state the following:

Education is not a privilege but a human right

All men have the right of information, knowledge and success in education

We demand the best education for all, for which purpose the state has to guarantee the framework for and the quality of education

It is our aim, that all human beings on the world should be offered equal chances for education and the necessary support for the development of their individual resources
